Stone Osteopaths has been established since 1978. We are set in a grade 2 listed building with two treatment rooms. For back pain, an accident or sports injury, we assess each patient individually, and create a bespoke treatment, putting our patients at the heart of what we do.
With patients from across Staffordshire and Cheshire, our treatments can help with:
- Back pain, sciatica and disc injuries
- Neck pain and injuries, headaches and migraines
- Postural problems, breathing and repetitive strain injury
- Pregnancy , obstetric and new mums
- Tennis & golf elbow and sporting injury
- Arthritis and post surgery treatment
Stone Osteopaths is a friendly and welcoming practice providing a bespoke treatment to every patient. Please bring along any scans, test results and a list of your current medication.
At your initial consultation your osteopath will ask you a lot of questions, some of which may not seem relevant to you, but they are to make sure that you are safe and appropriate for osteopathic treatment. All being well, your osteopath will normally ask you to dress down to your underwear, you may wish to wear a vest and shorts if that is more comfortable for you.
Your Osteopath will usually perform a full postural exam, and any other tests or specific examinations that may be relevant to your current situation. Once we have diagnosed what’s wrong we will discuss our findings and are happy to answer any of your questions.
Based on what we find we will:
- Use our hands to work on your muscles, bones and joints
- Give you relevant exercises, stretches or postural advice
- We may discuss other ways to manage your symptoms
At the end of each session we normally re-assess your range of movement.
You may want to bring a relative or friend with you to act as a chaperone, or we can provide a chaperone if you wish. It is totally your choice whether or not you have a chaperone at all, whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
Initial Consultation and treatment —£52

Having moved to Stone 4 years ago I was very concerned that I would not be able to find a good Osteopath. I have nothing but praise for Rebecca and her team at Stone Osteopaths. Having had back surgery the regular treatment I receive has ensured my continued mobility.
